Yes it works, at least on my Aspire 5 A515-51G.

Try to download the drivers from the Acer Support for your laptop

Weirdly enough I can't really find the drivers for the mouse, follow this:

Press Win+X and click on Device Manager, under Mouse and other Pointer Devices you should find a "HID-Compatible Mouse".
Double click on it and update the drivers there, after that it should say "ELAN I2C Filter Driver" (This is assuming you have the same laptop as me!)

Then try to swipe with the 2 fingers

And if you need the driver: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7244?b=1

I have an Aspire 5 and it works as well on Windows 10.

Another way would be, and I will say it right away I DON'T RECOMMEND but has saved me with various laptops in the past. Is to try to find Windows Precision Drivers.

There are a few modified Windows Precision Drivers to work on ELAN Tech touchpads.
I solved the problem..it is not a driver problem...in bios it has touchpad option basic..when i turn on advanced...scrawling work s

The driver isn't there :( No ELAN Tech driver on the support page

Probably due to Windows update providing the appropriate driver. One can go to ELAN Microelectronics' website or just do a Windows update (as you suggested on the second response) to solve the problem.
