Sounds like a Win10 update snuck in there while you weren't looking. :)  I suggest searching for an automatic Win10update restore point that was created just before this issue seemed to happen Jack E/NJ

@JustMaT If this usually happens when the machine is first turned on after being turned off for several hours --- like overnight --- it could also be due a CMOS coin cell failure. Did you also leave your machine on for an extended period on battery alone? Jack E/NJ

I always use it with connected to the Power, since my GF use it to play at home.
We used it just a couple of times with just the battery.. The laptop has just , 2 months since we brought it btw..

This makes a difference. If it was mine, I'd try re-setting the machine to a factory fresh state using the ALT+F10 cold boot method outside Windows. Press & hold the power button for about 5 secs till the machine completely shuts off. Then turn it back on and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key until the recovery screen appears as shown in the video below. If the machine still exhibits this behavior, arrange for a warranty repair ASAP. Jack E/NJ

@JustMaT >>>everytime i boot it it gets stuck on the predator logo forever and i have to hold the power key and force shut it off >>>

Your comment here is contradicting in that you imply 'everytime' it's booted, the machine hangs on the logo. But then you say if it's shut off and turned on again, it then boots. So it's not 'everytime',  at least not with a cold boot. If you arrange for a warranty repair, please clear up this contradiction. I think your machine operating system is somehow getting stuck in what appears to be almost like a hibernation or sleep mode and won't wake up. When you do a cold boot, the operating system seems to finally respond. Jack  E/NJ

Next time it boots up, disable "fast startup" option under windows power settings. This should help resolve your issue.

Thanks @sri369 . "Slow startup" essentially assures an automatic cold boot "everytime".  =) Jack E/NJ

Right. From his post that seemed to be his problem... it starts properly when he shuts it down using power button, but an issue when he lets windows shut down n such.

Yes you are right about that contradiction.. It was always on the 1st boot of the day, after a long period shut down. e.g "Every" morning I have to run this process.
Btw, I restored the laptop to a factory fresh.. and the Stuttering and Freeze problems dissapeared (another Issue due to W10 updates) and I'll let you know (and re-comment this post) as soon as I arrive home if I get stuck in the Predator logo or not on todays 1st boot.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate your answers

I advise making sure system protection is enabled in control panel settings. This should assure that restore points are created if this issue should arise again (likely) with a troublesome Win10 update. Jack E/NJ

My predator 17 Laptop G9-791 used to not boot after I had powered down and it was as if the log in screen was there but it was covered by a black screen so I could not see to log in to it - so I would type just any keys in to it and hit enter and it would then work a bit then suddenly light up and show the log in screen and say the password was incorrect so then I could log in correctly. Also alternatively I would go into bios screen and click around then say don't save and exit and this would boot it. But of course no one should have to go to all that trouble to get into their computer or laptop. it seems to be a theme for this type of computer as far as I can see. I have has so many troubles with it since the start almost of having it. The last month I have had killer network issues due to the fact that killer company stopped developing the one that this laptop has in it, no one ever informs us ''hey, we know that your killer program will break if you don't apply this fix because the program is no longer developed' or ' hey we know that you may have an issue with this program or that program, you need to do this or that to stop your computer breaking'. I also had TPM issues and I ended up resetting to factory a few days ago and all was good with it, then I updated Thunderbolt Firmware as it was waiting to be updated and suddenly I am back to being told that I have to reset the security processor which means factory reset. Its not the hard disk its not the mother board, its some kind of software/hardware incompatibility imho and its a nightmare as not all of us are technicians but I know that sending it back to be repaired is stupid when it simply needs some kind of fix which could be done by the owner given some basic instructions and information.
