    It is already out.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

No, it isn't.  There are review machines in the wild but it's not available for purchase yet.

In the USA it is for sale as far as I know. The rest of the world not yet. I asked Acer Nederland (The Netherlands) I they have a date. They don't have a fixed date, but it will be somewhere at the end of June. That should be for the Netherlands, don't know if this is the same for the rest of Europe.

I am guessing Tovar meant when is the AMD Ryzen and Vega Acer Predator Helios 500 variant being released, since the Intel i9 with an nVidia 1070 is already for sale.

From what I have seen via search engines, twitter streams, youtube videos, and such the 8 core Ryzen 2700 Vega 56 variant of the Acer Predator Helios 500 is going on sale in various regions in August of 2018 and it will be around $2000 MSRP (though I think I saw some yen price a bit over 25,000¥ as well so maybe it will be a bit higher. Personally, I am hoping I can find a variant for sale with a Japanese keyboard, since the current 8-core Asus ROG GL702ZC laptop appears to only have standard English QWERTY variants (not to mention only a 60hz display, while the Acer Predator Helios 500 with Ryzen and Vega apparently has a 144hz Freesync display, e.g. from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkcrYSt9NjM

Yet another Intel laptop variant doesn't really seem to interest me much, the Asus 8-core Ryzen has been blowing other laptops out of the water, and with all of the Spectre and Meltdown attacks, more security conscious operating systems like OpenBSD have begun disabling Hyperthreading, so having 8 actual cores is still a win for most applications I think and this Acer should hopefully hit a sweet spot. We will have to wait and see (as it is, laptops seem to be shipping with 2400Mhz DDR4 instead of 3200Mhz DDR4 which could potentially see better specs in benchmarking as well if configured a bit differently. Very few vendors offer 2666Mhz DDR4 and only some after market specialists seem to be offering 3200Mhz G.Skill options currently. But I am guessing these 8 core Ryzen laptops will do even better with better than stock memory.)
