Hi,
The maximum speed supported is 2400MHz and the HyperX Impact 2400MHz DDR4 CL14 memory module might be the right choice, I couldn't find any max/min value for CL.

According to Crucials website (Acer's partner for the Helios) RAM can be upgraded with 2666mhz DDR4 with a CL of 16

Kingston lists the memory in link below as being compatible. I don't see your HyperX on the list.
https://www.kingston.com/us/memory/search?DeviceType=3&Mfr=ACE&Line=Predator&Model=97103
The JEDEC DDR4 2400 timings are in link below. More than likely, your computer will only run at JEDEC DDR4 2400 (or 2133).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR4_SDRAM
Here's the specs for your Kaby Lake computer (I assume you have Kaby Lake). (I also assume you have Intel i7-7700HQ)
Here's your Intel CPU specs.
https://ark.intel.com/products/97185/Intel-Core-i7-7700HQ-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz
If you install 2666, it will probably clock down to 2400......to whatever JEDEC 2400 that is on the SPD chip.

Spec sheets also show HDMI output capped at 60hz while its been shown to allow up to 240hz via HDMI.
I'd be interested in seeing which manufacture is correct.- Hotel Hero1 -
@Red-Sand
Crucial isn't saying that if you install that 2666 RAM that it will run at 2666. They are simply saying that the part is compatible.I'm not an Acer employee.0 -
Is this not showing it works?- Hotel Hero1 -

Even if officially , the max speed supported is 2400Mhz, the Helios 300 can handle flawlessy a 2666Mhz : why am I saying that?
just because my Helios 300 g-3 572 came out of the box with a single 16 Gb 2666 Kingston ram stick as shown in the following screenshot. it's actually working at 1333Mhz on single channel and not at 1200 as a single 2400 Mhz would work, so no clocking down here!

i just want to ask if a 2666mhz ram upgrade is compatible with my Acer Predator Helios 300 (G3-571) 2017 model.... cause i ask acer service what ram speed is compatible upgrade my laptop can support they told me that my unit can only support 2400mhz but when i checked the crucial compatibility scan it recommends to use 2666mhz ram instead of 2400mhz that acer told me..... so i at lost at the moment what to use for upgrading my laptop.......

woofie 7th gen and ryzen only support 2400 only 8th gen and up support 2666 i recommend either hyperx if you want the best or vengeance dual channel kits either 2x8 or 2x16 i dont recommend crucial its cheap budget ram and they are liars when it comes to compatibility but its up to you and your own budget the supported ram by your cpu its on the intel website specs also some manufacturers might lock the speeds lower if they want to good luck
