An Other Device in my device manager called Detection Verification is not working properly. What is this device and how can I update the driver?

    Hi @mike734

Right click on the the line Detection Verification, hopefully you get menu and you can the left click on Properties, then Display Tab, in Property drop down box select Hardware tab. Copy and paste first line in Google. Should give you device. Head to manufactures web site and grab driver.

Nope. Right clicking brings up four tabs, General, driver, details, events. When I look at events I see the last line has this info:
     INTELAUDIO\DSP_CTLR_DEV_9D71&VEN_8086&DEV_0222&SUBSYS_00000022&REV_0001\4&39dc41a0&0&0800

So maybe it has something to do with audio?

Please visit www.acer.com > Click on support > click on drivers and manuals > here enter your serial number or model number of the unit and click find > click on drivers tab and check for ME management driver > Please download and install this driver to resolve the issue.

I found a possible solution elsewhere. I deleted the Realtek sound app and reloaded the drivers from the Acer product support page. The warning is gone so it seems to be fixed. But, on a separate subject, how do I know if I should update any of the bios or firmware found in the support page?

so it's an intel audio driver you're looking for.

Seems so. I don't have the issue since removing and replacing the realtech drivers.
