Hi,

Just bought my Acer Aspire V3-471G lapto about 4 months ago, but accidentally my laptop screen was broken.. My question is where can I buy a new 14 inch HD LED LCD for my laptop and how much does it cost in philippine peso?

Thanks,

Regina

If you bought it that recently you should be able to send it to acer to repair it. with the warranty

Yes I just bought it recently but can i still use my warranty even if it's my fault and not a factory defect?

You can always try. Do you know how to replace the LCD yourself? Or were you going to have it replaced by someone else

if you were going to have someone else do it they should find the LCD themselves (when I repair computers I do that for people as any honest service provider should) but if you can do it yourself ill get looking for a compatable LCD

No, I have no idea how to repace it by myself just watch it on the youtube but still I don't know if I can do it.. When my screen was broken last night, I lose hope na i was able to use it again coz I thought it's not just the screen but the whole laptop itself that was affected and just need to throw away because of what happened and how my laptop looks like everytime I open it yesterday, it's really frustrating, but this afternoon when I open my desktop computer I came to an idea na to try to connect my desktop monitor to my laptop if it's still gonna work and it works just fine and I'm using it now as I typed this message. So now I know na it's just the LCD so I searched the net on where to buy a new LCD but I can't find one I watched how to replace it on the youtube..All I wanted was to know if acer company is selling LCD and how much it cost so if it cost too much need to start saving money for it..

I dont think acer sells them. when I replace LCDs I normally buy them from 3rd party vendors

I found a barebone LCD (the exact same model that is in youre acer

if you indeed want to try. it is not too difficult you can probably find a decent tutorial on youtube

it's better if you repair your acer in the official service centre. at least the warranty for other part will still vaild.

if you really want to replace it by yourself that's fine. last time i check the price of LCD panel for notebook is around US$ 95(in philippine peso just multiply with recent php currency)

in my experience i try to replace the LCD through acer service centre, but it would cost : spare part cost + installation cost. installation cost occur because my warranty already invalid at that time.
