My A1-734 seem to suffer from the GPS log-leak problem.
However, there doesn't seem to be a patch I can use to clear the GPS log.
I have had to factory reset every time the memory starts to disappear.
Is there anything else I can do?

You can try to delete Location History using device settings. Deleting your Location History in the Settings app is permanent. You can't reverse or undo it. Deleting your Location History may cause problems in some apps.
On your Android phone or tablet, open your device's Settings app Settings app and then Google and then Google Account.
At the top, tap Data & personalization.
Under "Activity controls," tap Location History.
At the bottom, tap Manage Timeline. Your device will open Google Maps Google Maps.
Tap More More and then Settings.
At the bottom, choose Delete all Location History or Delete Location History range.

Also, you can try clearing your Google Maps cache to see if that might fix more issues.
Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Maps -> Clear Cache

I've given that a go, and will wait and see if it makes a difference.
I have located the issue, but can not get into the file to change the required line of code. I need to gain root access, but am having a hard time doing that.
The file I need to access is gpsconfig.xml found at /system/etc/gps/.
Do you know if there is a way to access system files without the trouble of rooting the phone?
