Acer Promise - Not so much

I have purchased 2 Acer Aspire 5 machines. Both failed in the first month. They were repaired and in terms of the rapairs I cannot complain. What I do think is not good is that the Acer promise is not applicable to these laptops. I have tried claiming but they insist it is not applicable even though they are high end laptops.

    I’m sorry that you had issues with your Aspire 5 units, but I'm glad to see that it was resolved.  Regarding the Acer Promise program, as @Inspiration101 mentioned, this program covers qualifying products from our professional product range.  While some regions only have TravelMate series on the list, others may have Aspire as well, but the qualifying Aspire units are the ones based on Windows 10 architecture in our professional product range.  Units in the list of available products vary by region; you can check the list of products in your region:


    Acer Worldwide

    1. Select your country
    2. Hover over the FOR WORK section and click on Acer Promise
    3. Click on the “Click here” link to view the list of qualifying products
