      I also own an SW512-52 and I stayed under 1803 in waiting the solution. I received this release few days ago which fixed the SSD issue via the Windows update canal:
      • May 23, 2018—KB4100403 (OS Build 17134.81): Link.
        "Addresses an issue with power regression on systems with NVMe devices from certain vendors."
      Now the laptop works perfectly like under 1709.
      do you have any other problems under 1803 like:
      Fingerprint
      Touchscreen
      Rotation
      Sound
      WiFi

      I also downloaded and installed the latest Realtek driver from the Acer support website:
      • Audio Driver
        Date: 2018/05/02 |Version: 6.0.1.8158| Vendor: Acer | Size: 466.9 MB
      Touchscreen, rotation, sound and wifi work perfectly. About Fingerprint, I don't use this option so I can't give you my opinion.

      So I tried the 1803 update again after taking the KB4100403 fix and all is good now.  No restarts or sound issue.
