Undervolting no longer lowering temps

humm00humm00 Posts: 3Member New User
Hi, i have a problem. I undervolted my predator helios 300 and temperatures became better while gaming, but recently it doesnt seem to be working anymore? Meaning the temps have gone back up. Lowering the voltage further would just cause the laptop to crash. Is there a remedy to this?

before undervolting overwatch would cause the cpu to rise up to 94 degrees, and afterwards it would at most be 85. Thats still considered high, but its one much preferable. Another thing is that undervolting also cause the gpu temp to decrease by a significant amount as well, but its now no longer the case. I was using xtu when it started acting up , tried throttle stop , but the problem still persistss. Helppp
