Hello, I was just wondering if my ssd is a nvme type: I have done a test with Crystalmark, and by the results it seems that it should be a nvme one: on your opinion is it working at full speed, or just at sata3 speed?

Yes, it is NVMe and working at full speed.

    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Unfortunately, you can't roll back to 1709 and have to wait for a fix patch on 1803, unless you have a recovery drive with 1709.

I think system restore might return your windows to 1709, but that is if you have a restore point created before the update.

Hi ven98, thanks for replaying, so you think that the ssd is working at its full speed  and not at sata3 speed that should be the limit from the motherboard ssd port?

...And by the way this ssd should be even the one to be affected by issues after 1803 Windows update is'nt it?  and what sort of problems should I encounter? (for sure my laptop crashes when unplugged) any other issues? is there any fix yet? (apart from rolling back to 1709, option which is for me not possible anymore after past the 10 days, my "Windows Old" folder have been emptied by the system and when I tried to roll back to the previous version (1709, I suppose) a pop up said that it was no possible. :'(  any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help, actually  i'm using the laptop Always plugged in, so I'm not having  such a trouble, (still annoying, thow)  so I'll wait for a fix patch from MS.

The only freezes/crashing I had on my 572 (which has the ssdpekkw256g7 ssd) during the short time I had 1803 was whenever I was on battery power.  When on ac power, 1803 worked fine all day long with no observable freezes.

As I do a lot of work when on battery-only, I reverted to 1709 last week once I found out the Intel ssd was the problem.  1803 is now blocked by MS from downloading to my system again.... which is fine by me until ms and intel work out what's going on with the 600 series drives
