ACER E5-576G-5762 RAM UPGRADE - DOESN'T RECOGNIZE RAM

Hello, I just bought a new ACER E5-576G-5762 laptop from Amazon.
This laptop comes with DDR3 slot, so I thought it would be a good idea to upgrade my RAM memory with a samsung DDR3 4 GB card from my old laptop.
Installation went good, the card fit okey. But then I realized the BIOS and windows only shows 8gb when it was supposed to be 12gb with the new upgrade.
I don't know what's going on, when I put the card back to my old laptop windows does recognize it.
Is there any compatibility issue with the voltage? here is a picture of the 4gb card:
Thanks

Hi,
Yes, it could be the voltage, your laptop comes with DDR3L(1.35V) module and the Samsung module is DDR3(1.5v), try running CPU-z and check the specifications of your current module, get a module with matching specs.
