I got the Acer VX15 about 7 months ago. The laptop came with BIOS version 1.04. I installed Windows 10 on the laptop and it has been working fine ever since. However, when I upgraded the BIOS version to 1.06, When I turn on the laptop, instead of bootinh straigt to Windows like it used to be. After the Acer logo, it goes to black screen with "Start Acer Linux" and Troubleshooting" message. I was able to boot back to windows by reboot the laptop and use the Boot menu to boot to windows. However, every time I turn on my laptop, I have to spam the f12 key in order open the boot menu and goes to Windows, which is very annoying. Otherwise the laptop will boot to a black screen with the "Start Acer Linux" message again.

Therefore my question is are there any ways to uninstall the pre-installed Linux on my laptop? Or at least change the boot order
permanently without having to enter the boot menu to boot into Windows?

I have never used Linux before and this is my first time encoutering this problem.

    Hi,
Try with entering Bios setup and change the boot order,1st priority to HDD which located in your computer. Save and exit by f10.
Now the computer automatically restarts and enter into your operating system(Windows).
It will fix this issue permanently.
