ages to start

Had Desktop 2 weeks done windows updates only updat showing is one that has a known fault according to Microsoft, a security update.

Every time I switch PC on after it has been shut down it does not load I wait 2 or more hours then have to press power button and restart then it functions. Can anyone help with this issue

    When in failure mode do you get any lights, do the fans spin, does the hard disk spin up? It would also help to know your model number...

    Sound like you need to read the manual and check the bios settings ensure they are first set to default according to the manual then check one by one each time saving it and restarting your computer until the problem returns note each setting down your take a picture so you can write it down for future reference I would also replace your system bios battery just to be sure its not losing its last memory point or configuration.

    Do you have answers to any of my other questions? You are getting close to the point where you can no longer take it back to the vendor and have to go through warranty service instead. If you can't figure out out I'd just have them swap you out a new one.
