My laptop came up this error when i disconnected the wifi and connected it again. this is the first time it's happened and i'm wondering what caused it? i downloaded newer version of qualcomm atheros ar956x version 10.0.0.321 from 3.0.2.182 and it downloaded visual c++ 2008 (9.0.30729.17 version) both x64/x86 will this resolve my issue or is it the wifi card? also does the visual auto download with the drive update for the wifi? i did ask Microsoft but they told me to ask you.

This model is preinstalled with wifi drivers version 10.0.0.321. If the issue was with the wifi driver, reinstalling it should fix the issue.

The "Run time error" error messages could be different on each computers, so there could be more than one resolutions, and you need to see for yourself which one is the correct one for your situation.
When Windows Explorer is opened, a runtime error occured randomly. This issue is caused by a faulty Visual C++ Runtime Library or certain applications which use the Runtime.

No need to worry too much about it, since we have fixes to help you with it. So, read along and find the fix for you.

    1)>>>>>Reinstall display driver
Hold the Windows Key and Press X and go to Device Manager.
Locate Display Adapters and Right Click your Display Adapter.
Then right click the graphics card that you are using now and choose Uninstall.
When prompted with the notification, tick the box for Delete the driver software for this device and hit OK.
Restart your computer when the uninstall finishes.
Check to see if the Runtime error stops now. If the problem persists, please continue with the next option.

    2)>>>>>Reinstalling Visual C++ Runtime
Press the Windows Key + R,  appwiz.cpl and then press Enter.
Locate the Microsoft Visual C++ programs in the list.
Select each entry and then click Uninstall.
Download a fresh copy of Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime from here and then install it.

    3)>>>>>Running Diagnostics
End the current Windows Explorer processes by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc and then selecting the Process tab.
Search for Windows Explorer(explorer.exe) from the running applications, right-click on it and click End task.
Press the Windows Key + R and type MdSched and click OK.
Select Restart now and check for problems.
Follow the wizard to check for and solve any memory issues.

I didn't have the latest wifi drive then because i had the lower version. was it normal for it to download visual 2008? the graphics drive is already updated. i always check that.

I think me deleting the visual would be risky as the memory on my laptop ain't great at the moment. versions i have installed at the moment 2008 x64/x86,  2015 x64/x86... 2010 x64/x86. i repaired the 2013 one so thats fine.

I have tried doing that windows and  done that error checking in acer (c:) properties in the tool section and it found nothing
