hello I have an acer predator laptop and the dolby audio enhacement setting keeps turning off randomly decreasing dramatically the audio quality. why would you want to turn it off? it is really annoying. does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? im using windows 10 (my realtek audio drivers are updated).

Did this happen recently or was this always the case? Jack E/NJ

it always happened for like 3 seconds and turned on again. but i updated the realtek drivers from the acer website and it stays off now. i rolled back the drivers but the issue is still there, rather annoying

I'm gonna guess the issue is more related to a Win10 update. What is the date on the latest ACER driver that you tried? Jack E/NJ

The reason is that if you run any software which uses both mic and speakers the drivers meet with a problem, to solve it just install EQUALIZER APO. While installing install it on speakers and mic only.
    1. After Equalizer APO installs, open the Configurator.exe.
    2. Highlight Speakers, and check the 'Troubleshooting options' button.
    3. Uncheck both 'Use original APO' buttons, and change Install as to 'Install as SFX/EFX (experimental)'
    4. Restart and it should work.
Note: This numbered part is taken from the Acer Predator Helios 300 facebook group.
Then open Configuration Editor. Delete everything by clicking red minus signs. This would solve the problem about low voice.
