Hi!

I have an annoying popup which self-installs every weekend and cautions about removing the built-in battery. I keep uninstalling this app and it keeps reinstalling itself. Am I the only one experiencing this?
1. Is it legit?
2. If it is a legit ACER app, how is it that I can't find any information about it on ACER website? Because as far as I'm concerned, the mere fact that it sneakily and forcefully self-installs every week screams "malicious" to me.

Thanks

At first before you uninstall this apps i would suggest you to install anti-virus app from play store. i would suggest kaspersky internet security app or Malwarebytes to test if the app is malicious or trojan.

as far as i know acer would not push any self installation apps in customer's device. post observation put in your comments that way we can fix the issue

In that case you can try something that can disable the app itself. Go to settings > Apps > search for the name of the app > click on it and click on force stop and disable. doing this this app will go to disable mode and it wont provoke until and unless that software is used again.
