Hi guys. I have Acer R7-372T laptop and want to upgrade SSD to Samsung 960 Evo NVMe SSD. Is it possible? Right now, without any specific drivers, BIOS doesn't see the new SSD.

    Okay. Finally my laptop can see the new SSD from Widows, but not from BIOS. I was able to clone Windows to the new SSD and it works good now, however laptop doesn't wake up from sleep mode. Any help on this?

    Dear Vofking,

    same issue here. Replaced the old SSD with a new Samsung 960 EVO NVMe via M.2-slot with PCIe x4 into my R7-372T. Running smoothly except that the laptop doesn't wake up from sleep mode anymore.

    Here is what I tried so far:

    - Tried the lastest as well as the old drivers from Acers support page for
      * Intel Chipset SATA/PCIe RST (alias Rapid Storage Technology)
      * Intel HD Graphics 520
      * Intel Managment Engine

    - Turn off Fast Boot
    - Turn off Hybrid Sleep
    - Disabled (=0) "CsEnable" in regedit (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power)
    - Disable graphics card driver completly (fall back to some Windows standard driver)

    What didn't work so far is using NVMe driver. When I force driver update of Intel Chipset SATA/PCIe RST manually, the systems fails to boot completly.

    Any solution for this?
