Aspire Z3-700: X mark on battery icon as if battery was not present, but shows 100% recharge.

I tried with Acer Care Center to check the battery and It says It is in a good state. The computer does not turn on without AC connection, and led of battery doesn't show on.
Firmware version is .03. Any idea ? Could it be a software/firmware issue or It is a hardware issue: battery not connected, missing or defective... ? Thank you in advance.

    Please try performing a power reset. Disconnect the charger. Check for a battery reset PIN hole next to the Docking Holder and Docking Connector at the bottom of the device. The reset hole would have a battery symbol next to it. Insert a paperclip into the hole and press for four seconds. Let the computer sit for 5 minutes with no power. Power ON and charge the battery, check the status.

    If issue persists, open device manager click “Battery” and under Battery, please click “Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery”. Now, do a right click on it, then click “Uninstall”. Confirm that you would like to uninstall the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery. After the uninstallation process, please restart your computer. As soon as you restart your computer, the Windows will automatically install the driver again. Please check your battery icon on the right bottom side of your Windows screen to see if it is charging.

    Hi,  I found and tried several times with the battery reset but nothing changed. If I disable the ACPI compliant battery and then reactivate it, the X disappears, but It doesnt charge. I tried to flash the bios with .A4 assuming it could make a difference while it won't let me because it says the level charge of the battery is just 1 of 15. The Acer care center correctly check the battery and says It is in good state.
