Aspire E15 E5-575T black screen but ok on HDMI

Hello all, I tried to replace screen on my Aspire E15 E5-575T because I my kid walked on it and I had all sort of vertical and horizontal lines on the screen. I installed the the new screen and it woyld not light at all. I tried to put back the old one and it's not working at all, not even with the lines as before. It runs on Windows 10. When I connect the laptop on a other screen via HDMI everyting is ok. Can someone help me ?

Probably disrupted a few conductor traces in the video ribbon cable, most likely where it meanders thru the hinge. Also try reseating the connectors at both ends of the video cable just to clean up and secure them. Jack E/NJ

Thanks JackE that was it, a rookie mistake i just did not push the connector deep enough because I was affraid to damage it.0
