I have an Aspire Z3-705 desktop computer. The pointer has frozen on the bottom left and not just frozen but keeps clicking. No matter what i open it keeps choosing and clicking in the same location. It has made using the computer all but useless. I have uninstalled both wireless mouse and keyboard.reinstalled and no change.  I have also tried a USB oprion. All to no avail. 2016 model running Windows 10 and has touchscreen.

Please help.

I will answer this one myself. After trial and error I made the assumption that the problem was from the touch screen. Something I actually don't use much. So with some messing arround I managed to get into the device manager. User interface. Touchscreen. Right click. Disable. Now works perfectly albeit no touch screen. Small price to pay.

its a temporary solution only. I have full control again but now have no touch screen. I have merely bypassed the problem but not fixed it. Historically when you bypass one problem its not long before another raises its head. So can you resolve what the ghost pointer issue is.

Glad you solved it yourself.  However, if you have warranty, I'd recommend reaching out to Acer to get it repaired.
