How do I activate Windows 10 using activation key?

My laptop does not activate windows because it keeps requesting a different activation key  I tried to find the different keys but still does not activate it.

    If a recent laptop (did not mention model) license key is stored in the BIOS by the manufacturer & can use a third party tool such as Produkey by Nirsoft to retrieve and store it offline.

    depends on what key you are using to Activate, since ea version has a different key. home key will not activate Pro nor Enterprise or Workstation.
    you need a genuine Key for the activation. you can go to store and obtain the proper key for a price as determined by MS.
