Hi - I am having trouble with an LG 43UD79 USB-C monitor - getting it to work over a USB-C cable from the V17's Thunderbolt 3 port. (It works fine from the HDMI to HDMI connection).
I was under the impression that the VN7-792G machine supports Displayport Alt Mode, but it doesn't seem to initiate.

Hi, there's a list on the german forum: https://community.acer.com/de/discussion/534473/usb-c

In your case: DP is only supported if you have the black edition.

Thanks. Great list on the German site. Yes, I have the Black Edition, which is why I was under the impression that it should have the DP Alt. I'll have to try some other things - maybe it's just a cable problem... maybe delete and reload the drivers.

    Hi

Did you ever find a solution for this? I am having the same issue. Mine works through HDMI but not USB-C. I have downloaded all of the drivers and reinstalled so they are up to date but it still not working?
