I added Adata sx6000 NVMe PCIe .3 x2 to M.2 slot of my acer Aspire F5-573G. Now, I installed windows 10 on this SSD. The original HDD is used as data drive. Everything is fine during normal turn on/ off process and using laptop. But whenever I restart windows, it turns off and shows me 'No bootable device'. What's wrong with it. I've updated BIOS firmware and nothing changed. I think I need a NVMe SSD driver update for my laptop. Please help me.

Does the BIOS boot order show the m.2 ahead of all other boot devices? Jack E/NJ

Is Window boot manager first in the BIOS boot order? Jack E/NJ

If not, put it first. Then make sure the F12 boot option is enabled in the BIOS main section. Shut down the machine. Turn it back on while immediately tapping the F12 key. What boot options are presented by the WinBootMgr? Jack E/NJ

hoping your BIOS will support boot from NVMe, you must be sure that your original HDD is completely wiped and there's no EFI partition on it.
if you installed windows 10 under UEFI enviroment, the first bootable device must be Windows Boot manager, also check if you can clear the list of trusted EFI boot devices on BIOS.

under Security tab, Erase all secure boot settings (you probably must set a Supervisor password before), then restore default secure boot settings, save and exit.
if it still not work, enter BIOS again and choose select and UEFI file as trusted...then browse to windows 10 UEFI file, select it and then save and exit.

I'm having a similar issue; NVMe drive is the boot and have another HDD with no boot data.

I've tried going through bios and boot orders to get to Boot Manager.  But my drives seems to be under Legacy and not UEFI.  Even when selecting Legacy, the boot order appears, but in Boot Manager, no boot disks appear

had you install windows under UEFI or legacy?

My problem only occurs when SSD is too hot. Because when I turn on laptop and then restart windows, it doesn't occur. After my laptop is turned on for over 5mins, it occurs. And also SSD is too hot and its temperature is over 75'C. How do I solve this problem too.

it seems as if its under Legacy, however upon switching to either legacy or UEFI, I'm still unable to boot past bios.

    Not t thread-jack, but I've posted a similar thread here: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/539954/no-bootable-device-cant-boot-past-bios#latest
