Factory reset fail - require boot disc or usb for Acer Aspire V5

I have entered the SNID and serial number into the Acer e-media web page (to obtain access to a boot disc) and the page advises that neither is correct.  Elsewhere on the Acer site the SNID is recognised and identifies the correct model number.  Because of this problem on the Acer e-media web page I am unable to formally request access to a boot disc to recover my Aspire V5-431P.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  Thank you.
