Fix for Nvidia Control Panel not saving settings?

I thought this problem had been fixed a long time ago but it's still here on my new Helios. The only setting that will save is under the Global tab, the option to use the Nvidia as the preferred graphics processor. Nothing else sticks.  I've got a GTX 1060, drivers for it and the control panel are up to date. Any ideas? Thanks!

Under adjust image settings select use the 3d advanced image settings then in global set those options as needed and save them.
You can also set individual settings for each program, you must be knowing how.

Note : In case you are using GeForce experience and you select the option as "use optimal settings", it ll revert all the changes made by you so make sure you don't do that.
    Hope that helped you.
