Black screen of death on Aao756-2418. My brother kept dropping his computer so many times that I has to replace the screen because it was cracked. Now I have another issue with his laptop; it is showing the "Black Screen of Death". I have used every method to watching YouTube to resolve this issue but unfortunately it will not boot up. How do i resolve this issue and get things back to normal?!

BSOD or BlueScreen happens when your computer cannot recover and needs to shutdown due to hardware/software failures. We need a bluescreen code to tell you why it happens. Most of the BSOD happens within seconds and the screen boots back normally. You can do this, post us the BSOD code (example below) and we can pin point what is causing this. You can alternatively try downloading bluescreenview (third party software) to identify where the BSOD is coming from m8.

    Example of a BSOD; 0x00000024 - NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM
    BElieve in YOUrself.

When exactly do you get the black screen?
Do you see any indicator lights glowing on your device?
Do you see the Acer logo when you power on your computer?
If yes, as soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press the F2 key and check if you are able to enter the BIOS.

Please perform a power reset. Disconnect the charger. press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Remove the battery.
Connect only the charger and power on the laptop to check if the system boot into windows.
