Hello,
My predator laptop's CPU is around 55-60 C when its 15% used.  When i'm playing it goes to 70-80 C (Only 30% use). I already undervolted it by 110 mV but i still find that idle temp high.
I never had a laptop before so i dont really know how the idle temp should be, so i would be happy if someone who knows whats up would tell me if its fine or not.
Maybe i whould get a cooling pad? Or i heard about something disable turbo boost but i'm not sure about that.

That is pretty norm temperatures, and those are not considered idle percentages. Here is why:

The i7 CPUs have four physical cores, with hyperthreading making Windows show 8 Logical. Hyperthreading creates the extra 4 logical cores that are like a sideroad in each core that allows smaller threads and operations to use during heavy loads. However, hyperthreading is not used very much because it is not as fast and powerful as the main physical threads, so they use the 4 physical cores more compared to the 4 extra logical. So really, 30% most of the time is comparative to an actual 60% CPU usage.

Thanks that was really helpful. I did not know that it handles the logical cores  like that.

Yeah. Really the main attribute to hyperthreading it that when all 4 main physical core thread are full, the pc won't lock up because it has the sidechannels. So an i7 is pretty much under 90-95%load at 50%.
