Ok.. this is really frustrating... I have bought 3 AcerSwift3 laptops.
I'm trying to set up two monitors, one over hdmi, other over usb-c. I have tried several third party usb-c to hdmi converters to get 2nd monitor running but it doesn't work.
I have contacted my Acer reseller (in Croatia) to get original Acer converter, but they said that they don't have it and if i want I can pay for it and then wait till they got it. Now i'm waiting for over a month and got reply that Acer probably has manufacuring problems and that I still have to wait for it but they don't know how long?!?!

Did anyone from this community managed to make it work and with which converter?

If all you want is to have a second monitor the one of these  will work.

NP, can verify it can drive a 1920x1080 monitor from a Spin 1. The inexpensive one is just VGA but for $10 more you get VGA, DVI, or HDMI (any one at a time).

Guess I do not understand the attraction of USB-C since my USB 3.0 docking stations (Targus, Mediasonic) work just fine. Acer used to have one but I do not see in the store any longer.
