Built in HDMI port not working

I have a ATC 120 UC22. I installed GEOFORCE card and am using two monitors (one with VGA and the other DVI from the GEOFORCE card). I'd like to make use of the onboard HDMI port to have a larger display during meetings but no matter what I try I cannot get the nvidia control panel to detect it.

Anyone have any ideas?

    Hi,

you could also look for a splitter like this here,. So that you have 2 monitors connected & also you could have a HDMI for an another Display too.. Cheers.

The onboard display adapter will be automatically disabled when you install a addon video card.

I guess that makes sense.  Is there any way to activate the onboard display adapter even when you are using a video card or do I need to add a seperate HDMI card?

There is no way to activate the onboard display adapter when using a addon video card. You may try using a DVI to HDMI convertor from the addon card. There is no option to add another card since there is only one PCI Express x16 Slot in this model.

THanks!  But would this spliter simply mirror the display?

  • Hi,
Most of the times yes, as there is no programming involved, it just provides an option to get an aditional display and / or Converter the Signals.

I installed a card and it didn't work. How to you re-enable the onboard graphics?
