My Acer Aspire All-in_One has been attached to a monitor arm for several years. I have removed it from that but now the actual built in stand (L-shaped metal piece that pulls out and serves as a stand) won't pull out. Is there a button on the back to release it? I can't see one. I can't remember if I had to secure it when putting on the large monitor arm.

Problem solved! You need to apply a lot of force to pull it out - so much so I was afraid I'd break it, but that's the kind of force it takes. Pull out not up. Whew!
