W700 original cradle wanted -anyone wish to sell?

I recently got my W700 with the new fancy keyboard case that works well.  I was half expecting the old dock/cradle that many people complained about but which would suit my setup very well.

My W700 is replacing my old laptop that has an external hard drive+card reader, Printer and mouse so the extra USb ports would be a bonus.

Is anyone not using their cradle and willing to sell it?

P.S. I am in the UK (as you could guess from my username!)

would you be willing to trade your keyboard cover for the desktop docking station and keyboard?

I was still wanting to keep the keyboard cover as its good quality and still useful, its just that from a day-to-day view the dock would be useful for when I am not traveling.

In thinking of what you'd be willing to pay for the cradle, the main thing is how highly you value convenience.  The major advantage of the cradle over a separate tablet stand and powered USB hub (which a quick perusal of amazon.co.uk indicates can be had for around 12 pounds) is that you don't have to separately connect the power and USB plugs each time you mount it on the stand.  On the other hand, though, if you get something like the Arkon tablet stand (which I have and which functions beautifully), you have the advantage of being able to select the ideal angle at which the tablet sits; I had to prop the cradle up on a thick paperback book to get the angle I wanted.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that I have the cradle; it's very nice being able to just slide the tablet in and have the power and USB connections made automatically (although the fact that you still have to plug in the video cable separately if you're using an external monitor, as I am, diminishes the convenience somewhat).  I just wouldn't pay a large premium for that over a roll-your-own setup.

True, in essence I would not want to pay a massive amount for the reasons you state- I could get a seperate hub and stand but the convenience of just sliding it ina nd having the connections made sounds great when I only want to take the tab into the next room and back.

I have found a UK supplier of the cradle who say they have stock but they want nearly £80, far to much for a couple of bits of plastic.  I would probably be willing to pay half of that.
