Ping depends on how far you're from the server, so it is a better inquiry to make with your internet service provider. Also make sure that you're not downloading anything nor streaming. Torrenting is a major cause FYI.

I don't have a Helios 300, but have really high ping right now too.  Something's wacky going on with the internet.  Not our computer.

    Ok.....

    1. Are you connected to 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz on the WiFi?
    2. What Wifi channel are you on?
    3. What's the make/model of your wireless router?
    4. Is there any chance you could take your computer to a friend's house?  And see if you still get the same ping problem?

At this point, the best settings for your wireless card are the default settings.  Please don't attempt to alter the settings on your wireless card unless you're an expert.

What is the make/model of your wireless router?
Does your wireless router have 5 Ghz?  If so, please connect to 5 Ghz
You can also try channel 1 or 11
Make sure you have your wireless router set to "20 Mhz channel width only"
Use Wifi Analyzer to help give you a general idea of how much interference you have on 2.4 Ghz

If you need a relatively cheap workaround, you can try using the links below as a 5Ghz Access Point.
You can use a workaround to solve problems with interference on the 2.4 Ghz band or incompatibility your wireless adapter and wireless router.

Edit: Make sure you ping the LAN too....ping your wireless router.

My wireless router has a local IP address of 192.168.1.254
Your wireless router is probably different....maybe 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1 etc......

Try pinging a different wireless router at a friend's house or at a neighbors house or at relative's house or at a coffee shop.  This will help you isolate the issue.

Usually the default wireless router settings are the best.   If you're using the wireless router provided to you by your ISP, you can ask them for an updated firmware or ask them for a different model.
If you're using your own personal wireless router, you can try updating the firmware from the manufacturers website.

I have neighbors so I make the following changes to be courteous and not hog the wireless frequency.

    2.4 Ghz

    20 Mhz only channel width
My neighbor uses channel 6, so I use channel 11....but in theory, the "auto" function on the wireless router is supposed to take care of all that stuff.
That's it.  All of the rest of the settings are default.

    5 Ghz

I leave everything default on 5 Ghz

Most of my devices are connected to 5 Ghz though.  I think I have the printer connected to 2.4 Ghz and maybe a tablet.

Let us know the results when you test your computer at a different location.

You may have to use ipconfig to find gateway to ping.

You could try flushing your DNS by opening Command Prompt and typing 'ipconfig /flushdns.'

Another option is uninstalling the wireless driver using Device Manager and restarting the laptop, allowing Windows to install a clean driver.

Ok, now you've got it **possibly** isolated.  Check out Skelomorph post above, go to Device Manager and uninstall/delete your wireless driver and let Windows automatically download the driver it wants.  You'll need to connect to ethernet so Windows can connect to internet and download.

Edit: I should have asked, do other devices on your network have bad ping when they ping the wireless router?

You can also try a Network Reset

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10741/windows-10-fix-network-connection-issues

And make sure you're just using Windows Defender for your antivirus/firewall

    Tinkerer

My D-Link DIR-619L started to giving me high ping on all of my devices so I replaced it with a Tenda N301 and my problem was fixed on all of my devices except on my Helios 300 (Atheros), I did a clean install and everything worked well but when i disconnect it from power the ping go up again.
After researching i found that setting the wireless adapter to Maximum Performance with battery fixes the issue.

Now i get the same ping on Wi-Fi and wired (i'm not on the US)  B)

Your ping 192.168.100.1 -t looks perfectly normal.

That's just the nature of the beast (WiFi).

You can use ethernet if it bothers you or you think that's causing you to get beat in your games.  :)  ;)

Again, your screenshot is perfectly normal on 2.4 Ghz wifi..  Here's mine on a desktop with Intel 7265 on 2.4 Ghz.

    Here's wifi on 5 Ghz......a little better.
