Although I didn't get any answer for my recent question, I've bought this Little Guy, (SP111-32N-P6ZT, to be exact) and I'm experiencing some problems now, in exact, with touchpad - because there was no special drivers for this, I'd like to ask, where can I find drivers, that will allow me to turn off this annoying palm-check option? I haven't fount anything for that in register, so I've started searching for drivers, but haven't found any. Is there any drivers or any other option to disable that function?

Can you post the hardware ID so that I can give you some links?

    To find the hardware ID:

    1. Open the Device Manager from the Control Panel. You can also type "devmgmt.msc" at the Run option in the Start menu.
    2. In the Device Manager, right-click the device, and select Properties in the popup menu.
    3. Select the Details tab.
    4. Select the Hardware Ids in the dropdown list. (Right click to copy it).

With the hardware ID, you can reverse look up on Google or post it here so I can see what I can find.

Nothing bizarre there, you guys gave Witcher series to the world which we're all thankful for :).

The hardware ID indicate us to Synaptics touchpad driver, a good place to start is that. Also do post what you get but be aware of scam forums.

@RanY2J: Actually, I've tried to install synaptics touchpad drivers for first generation Spin 1 (SP-111-31), but it didn't make any difference, unfortunately - I've didn't see any synaptics control tab in mouse configuration, like, for example, in my old Lenovo. Maybe I'll try it again...

I understand. The hardware ID seems to be with Synaptics. Install it at your own risk and if it doesn't help let me know and I'll see if your touch pad driver exists somewhere. Also you would have a software DVD with your purchase which you can try.

@RanY2J: So, I have installed the synaptics drivers and manually changed to make touchpad use it and... nothing happened. Well, the touchpad was still working, with any visible difference, but synaptics settings in Mouse settings didn't even showed up. Talking about DVD - I haven't got any with the computer, since, I think, I wouldn't even be able to use it, because this laptop doesn't have disc station (and I don't think it could ever have it). :D

Please do let me know if there's an update on the current issue at task. I think the GUI (We call that) is not available because the software is not compatible with your machine. However the mouse works which is a good thing, update me with what happened and I'll see what I can do about this.
