My Nitro came with 8GB DDR4 memory, it is capable of 32GB, has 2 memory slots so one slot is empty. I don't know where to begin to look for extra memory. I want at the minimum of 8 more and possible 16. Just need a little HELP to steer me in the right direction. Thanks

Hi,
You could check the details of your current memory with CPU-z, then get a module to match the specs of your original module, for example, if you have 2133MHz module in your laptop get the 2133MHz 8GB or 16GB module and install it in the second empty slot, you can buy them from online stores like Amazon(they have a good returns policy) or any other sites you prefer.

No problem. I normally just avoid the scanner and just put in my motherboard model (for future reference).1

Crucial.com is a great method to find what you need for this.

I went through Crucial.com and they "said" they had nothing in the upgrade of RAM for my system. I even went through the process of them scanning all my drives and all of my memory and it came back to me as nothing could be found in upgrading my RAM. Honestly, I'm pretty sure they do because with the help of a user on here told me how to get all my info through Task Manager and I did get that info so I am shopping around and have found a lot of different RAM. I haven't went back to Crucial just because they said they couldn't help me. All that being said...Thank You Very Much for your help.0

You have to multiply 1333 by 2 to get the actual speed of the RAM, 2x1333= 2666MHz, DDR means Double Data Rate.

If your model is same as the original post, it will work at 2400MHz but as you already have a 2666MHz module installed, you could match the same specs and add another module of 2666MHz, you can check by going to Task manager the speed at which your memory works.

Mine is 2667 on task manager. I want to match it on new upgrade. But 2666Mhz is not available in my country, i have to buy from aliexpress or amazon. Bit i don't know about the possible upgradeable ram which will match my cas latency0

And if i go for 2666/2400 Mhz ram which ram/ram with match with the ram that is currently installed? Can anyone suggest me?0

Hi,
Your memory works at 2666MHz, so you can buy a DDR4 2666MHz SODIMM module and install, if you can not find it in your country, you have to buy from online retailers.
