Brand new Aspire. Audio cd's and software cd's will not autoplay. Software will only open in Explore. Error msg: "AUTORUN.INF has changed or moved. Scanner disc software installs without driver. Attempts to install driver = error msg: "Filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. I see this as a Microsoft problem. They want a one-year support contract to fix it or do a reinstall, killing two days of personalizing and downloads. Anybody else have OS problems? Anybody know where the OS product key can be found?

Perhaps you might want to log onto, "Microsoft Community/Forum," for help.   See what they can do for you.  Good Luck.

Try opening command prompt and type sfc /scannow
Or check your antivirus software that could be hindering it.
if that doesn't work, have you tried reformatting the drive and reinstalling Windows?
Product key can be found underneath the laptop or inside the cover, perhaps removing the battery.

You probably did not call Microsoft and if you did, they shouldn't ask you money. Anyways, you can try the SFC scan as above or to just re-install your OS, you can go to Microsoft website. Just search on Google "Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File) - Microsoft". You'll find your Windows 10 DVD image which you can write as a bootable file on your USB.

    Good luck!
