My switch alpha 12 cannot turn on for the past couple of hours. There is an orange light even though it is not charging, I've tried holding the power button for 30 seconds or even more yet it wont turn on. I've read a lot of posts about this and most say to wait til the battery drained out.

Ok, I guess the only solution is to wait until battery reaches 0. ....as you said.  Maybe @JackE can have more suggestions.  If you're still under warranty, please call Acer.

I agree. Let it run down. Not worth opening it up to pull the battery plug. Jack E/NJ

@JordanB What is the longest time it'll take for the battery to reach 0? and when it does the orange light would be off right?

I don't own a switch alpha 12.  I think you did the right thing by asking in that other thread/topic.

It may take about a day if it is stuck in sleep or hibernation mode. In some Windows installations, a default timer setting will automatically shut all power off, including turning off any LEDs, after about 20 hours of inactivity. Once the LED is off, try charging the battery again without trying to turn it back on. Wait a few hours for the battery to re-charge above the critical level. Then press the power button for 2 seconds only. The blue LED light should come back on and the system should re-start. Report back. Jack E/NJ

Seems like a good battery. And the timer must be set for more than 20 hrs. Let it be. Jack E/NJ

Okay so this happened was I was on my laptop then i got a notification saying "product threat needs attention" or something like that and then everything stop responding I couldn't go on my applications or even shut down, so I held the power button til it shut down (it was charging too). SO I held the button again it went blue for a moment with nothing on the screen then went orange again, from there it's been stuck like this.
