Hi guys

SO's laptop went for an update and came back with basic PNP VGA monitor as its panel, with reduced resolution.
Running HWINFO identifies the display panel as LG Philips LP173WD1-TLA1.  I cannot find a driver for this.
Can anyone suggest how to force or find this driver?

thanks

Open Device Manager. Click Display Adapter. Right click on and choose properties of ATi adapter. Click on update driver while  connected to allow Win10 to search online for the best driver. Jack E/NJ

Thanks, but this didn't do it.  The problem actually lies with the 7/27/2017 ATI driver.  The only way I found to fix this was to use 'rollback' which let me choose.  But if you don't have the rollback option, then one can do the "update driver", "choose from a list on my computer", and then hopefully the 2015 driver is there. I might be glossing over exactly which options are presented, but you get the idea.
