I have been all over the web trying to fix this problem.

After the upgrade to the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, my computer beeps when I press the power button to start it up. I have been over at www.tenforums.com. We have tested the RAM. The RAM had no issues. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version which didn't fix the problem. With the Fall update, they have added extra screens that say "Shutting Down" and "Please Wait" upon powering up and down the computer. I believe this has to do with the latest update, because the computer is used to the spinning circles and for the screen to go black and for all of the apps to close at shutdown. Now, they re-open with the new update. Acer has not updated this computer with any updated drivers which really upsets me. They only supported Windows 10 for this computer was the first Windows 10 version. My other computer which is an HP is still being supported for future Windows 10 upgrades and so is my Toshiba laptop. The computer has an American Megatrends UEFI BIOS. According to the BIOS beep codes, the only close thing would be DRAM Refresh Failure. But as I have said before, the RAM has tested out as good. I have taken the CMOS battery out and put it back in to try to see if the beep will go away, but it didn't. Other than this beep, the computer runs perfect.

Computer is an Acer Aspire XC-603G Desktop.

I have similar but different problem. My ACER will NOT boot after Win10 update. I have to power cycle the ACER and it will then boot but the win10 update fails.

It's ridiculous that they aren't supporting this computer for future updates for Windows 10. That's part of the problem, even if Windows 10 is better at keeping drivers updated. At lease send out some updates for the BIOS, or whatever trouble spots there are that is causing issues for people with this model.

I have just completed the Windows Fall update on my G791 and everything is running smoothly. It took about 2 hours but other it was seemless.
It was a risk as the net seems to be full of people who have updated and wish they did'nt.

I am assuming that prior to you installing the Fall update all other updates were done?
Have you looked for a BIOS update?

Having a BSOD nightmare after the fall creators update on my g9-592, specially BSOD like irql_not_less_or_equal and kernel_security_check_failure, tried mem scan, hdd check and fresh install yet the issue persists. Rolledback to the previous spring creators update and everything is fine.
