I don't know if I had windows 10 pro or just windows 10. I didn't notice? I am 66 years old and do not hardly know anything about computers. I got my computer from a pawn shop. And after I had it a few months I was having trouble so I did a reset but when it was counting up the % it stopped at like 93% complete and would go no further. So I had to take it to a computer shop and got charged 80 and I beleive they told me that installed a new windows 10. Well that was 6 months ago and again I was having some problems so I went to he choice of just reinstalling windows everything went fine except it will not activate. And then come to find out I have windows 10 Pro build 1703 I think my computer updated to that. I have NOOO idea how I got windows 10 pro at all. But I cannot acctivate. I hate to go back to the computer strore I am on a fixed income and cannot afford that. Is there anything anyone can help me to get my computer accitvated I did find a product key within my computer but that isn't it. please can I just reset my computer to what ever it was before Windows 10 nightmare. I don't even know what was on here windows 8 or windows 7. Pretty bad huh ?? at least I am honest. Anything you can do to help me I would appreciate it.

If it was Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, try following one of these videos to re-set the machine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2xoMEPfiPQ

If it was Windows 8, go to store.acer.com. Select US or CA. Then click on eRecovery in the upper right hand corner. Enter your machine's SNID, and order either the DVD or USB factory Windows installation media for your specific machine. Nominal cost.
