Today my laptop screen completely turned black while I was browsing chrome and try to login in my origin app.It stayed around 2/3 second then two or three blinkers and then it automatically turns into normal. Is it normal? ? I noticed it for the first time near one year with this laptop and a day before this some ants are on my laptop I tried my best to send them away now I see none of them.Is ant is a problem ? If it's what is the soluaction and what are the problems are ? And please enlighten me on the screen issue.

Did you get any messages about drivers crashing or restarting or any error messages at all?

This happened to me too on the same model as your laptop also after approximately a year in use. I was playing Witcher 3, alt-tabbed it to desktop then the screen turned black for a moment then blinked back to normal screen. I exited the game and so far I have yet to experience another black screen "blink". Unfortunately, I have no idea what the problem is and I cannot seem to replicate it in a controlled environment.

No.No error message or nothing at all.Just 1/2 seconds of black screen then few blinkers and back to normal.That's it.Is it a problem? If its, what is it? and how to prevent but after that, I did not face the problem again yet.

Ohh!!So is it a problem or just a blinks of black screen? And after that, I also didn't face this problem yet.

It sounds like a driver issue since you're both having similar symptoms. Have you updated your drivers recently guys? You can try nvidias latest drivers, if you have those already maybe uninstall and try the one from Acer.

I update my drivers regularly ok then I will recheck if any new update is available or not. Thanks for the suggestion hope it's not a big problem.

I mean it could be the ants definitely haha but it sounds like the driver is a problem, either that or the integrated/discrete cards are being switched on/off which results in the quick black screen possibly. Just trying to think of all possibilities here.

Is ant is a problem?I think I removed them as I didn't see any of them now.And didn't understand your integrated/discrete card of being switched off part, can you please explain??

Oh your laptop has two graphics cards, one is integrated into your processor chip and the other is a standalone or discrete unit. Anyway it could be your computer switching which card it wants to use to display things. Like going from a game to the desktop maybe it wants to use integrated over discrete. Not saying that is what is going on but it's possible. And unless you disassemble the whole laptop (not suggesting you do) who knows what the ants have done. Most likely they crawled out or died!
