itunes and issues with the cloud app

I recently bought a new Acer laptop with Windows 8 installed. I downloaded the newest version of itunes and had no problem adding all my music files back in but when it comes to syncing or ejecting my ipod I keep getting error messages. It tells me that the ipod can't be ejected because there are files that are in use by another application.

I believe that this is due to the Acer cloud app that is also running on the system. Preventing this opening at startup seemed to help as I was then able to sync my ipod. But when I turned the cloud app back on I found I still couldn't eject the ipod without the same warning.

I need to know if there are any settings I can tweak so that these two programs can run at the same time. I don't see why I should have to keep disabling one thing to use another.

Any help is much appreciated.

as i know, there is a relevant itunes option of AcerCloud, perhaps u can refer the following step:

    1. Launch clear.fi Media/ Photo app on PC.

    2. Click <Edit>-<Preferences>.

    3. Cancel <subscribe to newly purchased updates from iTunes>.
