Brand new Predator 17 today.
And before anyone asks the obvious questions:
I7-7700. GTX 1070. SSD.
No background apps. No added antivirus. Windows game mode and dvr off.
Maximum Performance Power setting.

Rise of Tomb Raider, on high, not max, can't keep a consistent 75fps why?!?
Forza Horizon 3, on high, not the ultra preset it determined for me. Again can't keep 75fps?
What is going on here?

When you have V-sync on you will never have 75fps constant all the time. There will always be some fps drop from 1-3 fps depending on the game there could be even higher fps drop. Even if you are using the most powerful GPU and graphics set to lowest, it will be the same thing, that is why we have G-sync to eliminate the screen tearing when this happens.

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Didn't happen on my old desktop which had a 970. And gsync on and vsync off makes the frames go all over the place.

When you have G-sync on, V-sync should be turned on as well.
