Elan touchpad driver problem on Acer VX 15 laptop
Hy guys, i have a problem and i need your help, my elan driver dosen't work properly, all gesture don't work.
In that picture i don't see "Touchpad" just mouse and i don't have mouse conected. Please help me.

Hi,
You don't have the touchpad driver not installed, go to Acer support site, download the Elantech touchpad driver and install,
Can you post the model of your laptop please, like VX5-xxxx.

Sure, i have Aspire VX5-591G, my problem is still here the driver tell me "Ready to use" but nothing changed.

Thanks for that, go to Device manager(right click start), expand Mice and other pointing devices, do you see Elan Touchpad?
If not, as I have mentioned earlier, go to Acer support driver downloads, download driver version 13.6.7.2 and install.

On device manager i see "Elan Imput Device" and "HID-compliant mouse"

enable touchpad in bios from basic to (im not sure what, but by default is basic)

I do it but nothing speciall happend, just in device manager has changed, i try to install it to "Advance" mode in bios, but elan driver don't wan't to work

I understand, but why i need to do this ? The touchpad did not work from the beginning ever since I bought the device

If it was faulty out of the box, it could be a manufacturing fault and you need to send it for service. Please contact Acer Support in your region.

How long have you had the laptop? I don't know the returns policy in your country, if you can return the laptop for a refund or replacement, please do so and if you can not return it to the retailer you have to send it to Acer Service centre for a repair, please contact Acer Support service in your country.

Highlight I2C HID device, click Action at the top, click "Scan for Hardware Changes" and see whether it installs the driver.
