Anyone know if Aspire VX 15 (VX5-591G) supports HDMI 2.0 ?

Does the m.2 support PCIe or just SATA3?

I cannot find the full specification, would also appreciate if someone can point me to that.

Thanks.

    Hi,

HDMI version in this laptop is 1.4b and the m.2 supports PCIe Gen3x4( NVMe).

too bad, I was really hoping to connect my 4k panel at 60Hz for whenever I need color-accurate work. it is a shame as it is the only video output of this otherwise great machine. Playing at 4k is of course impossible, but some video editing should have been possible

is there any chance to improve this on Bios? or is it a physical limitation of the connector?

I have a problem when i connect the VX15 on a TV that use HDMI 1.4. Do you know if HDMI 1.4b is not compatible with TV that uses 1.4 version?

    It is a hardware limitation.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

What cable are you using to run 4k@60hz? I plugged my new Monitor with an hdmi cable but it runs only at 30z.
