My laptop has one stick 8gb installed, so i plan on getting one more. Which brand should i choose?

I am considering crucial, since it should be nearly the same thing.

Crucial 8GB DDR4 2400 MT/S (PC4-19200) SODIMM 260-Pin Memory (CT8G4SFS824A)

Crucial system scanner suggest a model with exactly the same specs, but different product number, which is not available around here. This one has the same CL17. I guess there is no reason to get anything better than that, since i am not replacing the installed stick.(correct me if i am wrong)

Should i pick something else like Kingston maybe?

If Slot #3 is currently populated, where should i put the new stick?
Do i have to remove the battery to install it? Can i use the Battery reset pinhole for that, or it instantly reconnects the battery.
My laptop model is G5-793-79ER  NHQ1XEX002

    Hi,

Part numbers for recommended memory modules: KN.8GB07.034 and KN.8GB0G.037

You can install any brand of memory stick with the same specification as the recommended modules.

Crucial System scanner also a handy tool to buy the memory suitable for your laptop:http://www.crucial.com/

EDIT:If you see an empty slot when you remove the service hatch, install the new memory in that slot, you don't need to remove the battery but avoid touching any parts inside.
