Aspire V Nitro 2017 (593G) stutter / lags when installing a new software or windows 10 run as admin
Hi
I have just got my acer today and it micro stutters when finished installing an app or a game and when the run as admin pop ups.
Right now my intel graphics driver is version 21.20.16.4627 (09 MARCH 2017)
Maybe it is the intel graphics driver but it won't let me install the newest driver:
"The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer."
Have you experienced any stutter / lags / mini freezes with this computer?
But overall great laptop with great performance.
I7 7700HQ, 1060 and 8gb og ram. And do you know which ram to buy if I need to upgrade ram to 16 gb og 32 gb?
Thanks in advance for answering my questions.
EDIT: The Dell XPS 15 also have stuttering issues: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/5tispj/xps_15_9560precision_55520_fix_for_lagstuttering/ JFYI Hope you can help me update my driver to the newest.

As I can find out it seems like it is an nvidia optimus problem.
So I will close this thread and have this as an aswer so anybody can see the problem and temporary solution.

you need to uninstall the installed Intel/Acer VGA drivers before installing the "stock" Intel's one.
do it, right clicking the Intel graphic adapter on device manager, choose to uninstall and tick to uninstall software too if prompted, then reboot and install the downloaded drivers.
keep in mind that windows 10 probably will try to re-install the Inte/Acer drivers.

I got the newest driver installed by your guide. Great.
But it still stutters / mini freezes when I open a installer and i popups to run it / make changes to the system. Just and when I have clicked on run it stutters again for under 1 sek. Can't move curser or do anything. Just mini freezes.
Do you have an idea why and possible solution. I thought maybe the updated intel graphics driver was the solution, but apparently not.
Thanks in advance.

Can't seem to find any bios updates:

Am I just looking in the wrong place or is there no bios updates to VN7-593G
Thanks

yep, no BIOS updates.
have you installed any third party antivirus? (AVG-McAfee)
if so, uninstall it and then try again.
apart this, i don't have other ideas to be honest.
