Hi have huge issues with my wireless lan. Every 5 to 60 minutes it loses wireless connection and I havent been able to fix it with updating driver- deinstalling the killerwireless app and deactivating the wirelessdriveres energy shut down option. It is a dealbreaking issue Smiley Sad
Anynone has similar problems?

I might have to do this as well.  I have been using my laptop with a hardwire connection as my wireless speeds are around 20mbits slower than hardwired...all the time.  I was also getting some stuttering when using doubleshot...anyone else see this too and does a driver update fix it?

Well I installed the latest drivers from Killer and I still am getting lower speeds than rated, nothing changed.

the last drivers should help with the disconects, not the speed, if you are on the 2.4ghz band don't expect more then 50...70mbps, you need a proper 5Ghz 2x2 AC router

I'm using a Luxul 2x2 mimo $300 router so I'm topped out there.  I will try forcing to the 5 ghz band to see if that helps.  My HP Envy laptop I use for work consistently gets better speeds wirelessly as do all other devices seemingly in this house.

If I go wireless all I can get is about 40mbit down.  If i go wired I go to 69-70mb.  My rated speed is around 60 but I ussually pull 70 as I am near the Spectrum Main office here.

I'm still bouncing back and forth between doubleshot and a hard wired connection to decide which I like better...anybody have any opinions on this?

Wireless connection disconnects or drops, even after installation latest drivers

I guess we are not the only ones.  Anyone that can help?

    Try netsh resetting

Command prompt (administrator) type netsh winsock reset, restart the pc >> dont get scared youll have to do it couple of times

also download the LAN atheros driver package from Acer drivers site and reinstall it

    download Malwarebytes.

i had similar stuff, i resolved the disconnections with my fixes and now it only say ``windows could not automatically detect proxy settings`` but thats about it (i guess ill still try to figure out how to remove the message) but anyway, wifi is normal now it seems.
