Predator 15 seems to be missing second SSD slot. G9-593-72VT

I just popped open the case and it appears the socket for a second SSD is missing. Is this normal? I just bought a new SSD and that ridiculously expensive little drive adapter but there is nowhere to install it now...

    Hello,

FYI, your laptops are equipped with the same motherboard (NB.Q1A11.001). I agree it is a bad surprise but certain models of this series (G9-593 and G9-793) are shipped with motherboards with only one M.2 SSD socket.

My G9-793-79pe 17" also only has one m.2 slot.  The extra one underneath is missing on some models.

Very sneaky and dirty move. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

My opinion: Acer should indicate this information in its official specifications. Like this, no doubt and no bad surprise.

Could it be added by welding a second slot?

    My laptop  g9-593-73fk support nvme?
