Replace battery with a stronger one

I have Acer Aspire E5-575g-59P2 laptop.

The battery is weak - it lasts ~2.5h on normal use(no gaming).

Is it possible to replace it with a stronger one which will last more? Any compatible baterries which you can suggest?

    Hi,

    These batteries are compatible with your model, check which battery is in your laptop(whether it's 4cell or 6cell battery).

    4 cell battery model numbers:

    KT.00405.001

    KT.0040G.007

    6 cell battery model number:

    KT.00605.002

    KT.0060G.001

    Hi brummyfan2,

     

    Does it matter if it's 4 or 6 cells? I mean if current battery is 4 cells, is it a problem if I put a 6 cell one? 

    Also I see that these batteries are 2800mAh, which mean's they are with the same capacity as my current one.

    Aren't there compatible batteries with larger capacity?

    Hi,

    These are the batteries recommended by Acer and I would suggest you to install the battery with same specification, it's also difficult to put any larger battery due to lack of space in these models.
